Please post there by June 17th or you will be deleted. * *The Clan numbers are now fairly even, but we still have too many she-cat warriors and not enough toms in RiverClan. If you own one of these she-cats, please bump it down to elders (which we are lacking in all Clans) so that we have a more even number of warriors. * *After the activity check, there will probably be a Gathering. Clan leaders, be prepared to pick who you want to be taking. Try to get at least one cat per person so that everyone gets to go. PM the other leaders to get this to work, or start a thread under 'General Board'. * **Some changes are going to be made on the site soon. As The Secrets of the Clans* is now out, territories are going to be modified to encompass the landmarks mentioned in the field guide. Apprentice and Warrior Ceremonies

((I apologize for the lateness of the apprentice ceremony of Iceflower's kits. I decided to, while I'm at it, make the warrior ceremony for Fernpaw and Firepaw too, since they have been apprentices for ages and we need more tom warriors. Nightstalker and Rainsong, if you don't like your warrior names, just tell me and I'll change them.))

Cometstar leaped to the top of the Highrock and yowled the familiar gathering call: "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!"

As the Clan gathered around her, Cometstar sought out Iceflower's three kits with her sharp yellow gaze. "Mistykit, Leafkit, Featherkit," she meowed, "please come here. It is time for you three to become apprentices."

Cometstar beckoned with her tail for her three chosen mentors to step forward as well, and began the ceremony. "Darkstorm," she meowed loudly, "you have proven yourself to be a loyal warrior and strong fighter. Pass on all you know to your new apprentice, Leafpaw." She paused and waited for the apprentice and mentor to touch noses before continuing.

"Rainflower, you are kind and caring, and a valuable asset to our Clan. Teach your new apprentice, Mistypaw, well." After these two cats had touched noses as well, she cleared her throat and announced Featherkit's mentor. "Rainsong, you are a devoted member of this Clan and a formidable fighter. Please teach your great skills to your new apprentice, Featherpaw."

The Clan congratulated the new apprentices with warm and hearty meows. Cometstar gave the young cats a few moments to enjoy their short time of fame, then cleared her throat to speak again.

"There are two apprentices," she meowed loudly, to quiet any members of the Clan still talking, "who are ready to become warriors. Snowpaw, Fernpaw, please come up here." She waited for the two apprentices to approach the Highrock and continued. "Both of you have been helpful and good apprentices to your mentors and your Clan. Firepaw, from this day forward, you shall be known by your warrior name: Fireclaw. Fernpaw, from this day forward, you shall be known by your warrior name: Fernpool. The two of you will sit a silent vigil outside the camp entrance tonight. Congratulations."

She leaped lightly down from the Highrock and touched noses with the two new warriors, offering them more words of congratulations, before the rest of the Clan swarmed over to chant the cats' names and praise them. Yawning, Cometstar padded back to her den for a much-needed nap.

((NO! SNOWPAW CANNOT BE A WARRIOR YET! HE HASN'T EVEN HAD ONE FULL TRAINING SESSION!!!!!!!! He JUST got attacked by a fox! He cannot be a warrior yet! And Fernpaw was an apprentice LONG before Snowpaw! Snowpaw doesn't know anything! HE CAN'T!!!! *start's freaking out* AND YOU FORGOT MISTYKIT!!!! DDDDDDDDDD= Mistykit is my kit! *teartear*))

((Nightstalker, I did do Mistykit. Read closer; it's in the 4th paragraph. The mentor is Rainflower. I'll make Snowpaw Fernpaw then. Just let me know when Snowpaw is ready to become a warrior.))

Rainflower had started, astonished, when she heard that she was to be mentor to Mistypaw. Then she realized that Cometstar was making her apprentice, Firepaw, a warrior. She touched noses with Mistypaw and congradulated Fireclaw, smiling.

Leafpaw happily touched noses with her mentor, thoroughly excited.

Featherpaw smiled shyly at Rainsong as she touched noses.

Fernpaw gaped for a moment. She was a warrior? Finally? Then, grinning proudly she accepted her warrior name, mouthing a thank you to Brambletail as she made her way to the center of the clearing. She winked happily at her best friend, Flamefur, as she passed.

Flamefur ran over to congradulate her best friend. "Now I get to tease you about being a warrior!" she mewed happily. "Oh great and powerful wariror..." she repeated what Fernpool had said when Flamefur had become a warrior.
